Joya is an Associate Professor at the University of Canterbury Business School. She is passionate about social and environmental issues in consumption and production, and has published several media pieces and journal articles in this area. Her research interests include the broad areas of sustainable and ethical issues surrounding business activities, healthy and sustainable eating, and change initiatives (at individual and organizational levels) to improve individual and societal health.
