Katherine Quinn

Katherine facilitates policy work across Climateworks Centre’s Australian projects, including researching decarbonisation solutions for Australia and connecting insights to policymakers.

A legal and policy specialist with expertise in Australian federal policy and international environmental law, Katherine has for the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and in environment and security portfolios for the Australian Government. In her role at Climateworks, she has a particular focus on the legal structures within Australian federal policy, and identifying policies that will reduce industrial emissions at scale.

Katherine holds a Master’s in International Environment and Energy Law from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University. She won the Oxford University Press Law Prize in 2017-2018.
