Dr Kathleen Mikkelsen is a lecturer and biomedical scientist at Victoria University whose work focuses on nutrition, inflammation, women’s health and chronic disease. She has published extensively in molecular biology and immunology, including highly cited research on vitamin B, mental health and immune function.
Her work has been featured across television, radio and print media internationally. Alongside research, she teaches anatomy and physiology and has a strong interest in translating complex biomedical science into accessible public health communication.
