I am a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at the Australian Rivers Institute. My research focuses on optimising remote, non-invasive ecological monitoring methods. Currently, I am exploring the sounds of ecosystems and their relationships with the environment — where the goal of my PhD research is to determine whether sound can be used as an alternative monitoring system in freshwater streams. My work also involves data management, ecological modelling, and coding, as well as teaching as a laboratory demonstrator at Griffith University.
