Kerryann Walsh

Kerryann Walsh, PhD, is Professor in the Faculty of Education at QUT. She is a leading scholar in the interdisciplinary field of child maltreatment prevention and has researched and published in the areas of online safety education, school-based child sexual abuse prevention programs, professionals’ reporting of child abuse and neglect, and training interventions for mandatory reporters. As a classroom teacher through the 1990s, Kerryann worked on a multidisciplinary team at Act for Kids first community child maltreatment centre, Contact House, in Brisbane (then known as the Abused Child Trust).
