Kevin Muhamad Lukman

Dr. Kevin Muhamad Lukman is a lecturer at the Graduate School, Universitas Padjadjaran. He completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. After he graduated from ITB, he worked for multiple engineering consultant to design solid waste management in various regions in Indonesia. Dr. Kevin then finished his Master and Doctoral degree in Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Tohoku University, Japan. After earned his PhD degree, he worked as postdoctoral researcher in the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) for the Research Center of Oceanography. Dr. Kevin has participated in multiple international projects, in particular related to the coastal ecosystems, such as SATREPS BlueCARES (2018–2023), APN Project (2021–2023), and Sumitomo Grant Research Project (2024–on going). The research field and interests involve coastal ecosystems of mangrove and seagrass, environmental perception, community-based conservation, and sustainable tourism development.
