Krisztina Rudolf

Krisztina Rudolf is a PhD researcher in molecular exercise physiology at Liverpool John Moores University’s Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences (RISES), working within the CaMP-LH healthy ageing theme. Her research examines how skeletal muscle adapts during ageing, with a focus on proteomics and interdisciplinary approaches to understanding healthy ageing and maintaining independence.

After beginning her career in clinical practice and later leading training and research in a private healthcare setting, she moved into academia to investigate the biological foundations of exercise and ageing. Her doctoral work forms part of a wider collaborative effort to understand how muscle health supports functional capability across the lifespan.
