Laura Booi

Dr Laura Booi is a Gerontologist and brain health researcher with a global perspective on dementia prevention. Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, she is now based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Laura works as a Senior Research Fellow at Leeds Beckett University’s Centre for Dementia Research and is a Senior Atlantic Fellow with the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin. Her work takes a lifespan approach, beginning with young adults, to reframe how we understand and support brain health across the life course.
