Laurent Binet

Laurent Binet is a Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University. Prior to Newcastle, he lectured at the universities of Bath, Coventry and Bristol where he was the Language Co-ordinator for French.

He regularly works with the International Baccalaureate and was the chief examiner for French B between 2010 and 2016. Originally a graduate from Sciences-Po Paris and Celsa-Sorbonne, he also worked as a PR consultant and head of press relations for Deloitte in Paris.

Laurent's research focuses on French politics, euroscepticism and the politics of food.
