Lily Moor

Dr Lily Moor is a Research Officer at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society. She completed her PhD in 2024, investigating how adults in Australia engage with various biodigital technologies for sex and intimacy and how this engagement relates to perceptions of risk and pleasure. This research contributed to an Australian Research Council-funded project examining socio-cultural and socio-legal understandings of adult engagement in technosexual practices.

Lily is currently working on two major projects involving improving digital sexual literacy in Australia by exploring adults' engagement with and attitudes towards digital sexual materials online, and another seeking to enhance young people's sexual health literacy and support sexual and consent education in Australia.

Before joining ARCSHS, Lily completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons.) at ACU. Her Honours project, completed in 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Joel Anderson, examined the relationships between personality traits, antisocial online behavior, and prejudiced attitudes toward sexual minority men.
