Luke Sy-Cherng Woon

Dr Luke Woon is a psychiatrist and lecturer at the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is a visiting fellow at the Australian National University (ANU) National Centre for Health Workforce Studies (NCHWS) and a member of the ANU Malaysia Institute. He recently completed his PhD at ANU under the joint sponsorship of the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and UKM. Dr Woon has extensive experience in the design and implementation of clinical research, having published more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including several high-impact publications. His research interests include mental health service delivery, mental health equity, health economics, and psychiatric epidemiology.
