- Associate Professor, Flinders University
Professor Maarten Immink researches how the brain, mind, and body work together to shape human movement, skill learning, and performance. His work focuses on understanding how people learn and perform skills under pressure, and how this can be improved across sport, health, rehabilitation, and high-performance settings. By combining insights from movement science, psychology, and cognitive science, his research aims to inform better training, reduce errors and injuries, and enhance performance in everyday life as well as elite environments.
