I am a specialist in the colonial and revolutionary periods of United States history. My recent book, 𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘴: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 examines the various ways John Adams has been depicted in history and memory. I have recently been added to the circle of scholars at the Adams Memorial Foundation.
