Mariano García Izquierdo

Mariano García Izquierdo holds a PhD in Industrial Psychology from the University of Murcia, where he also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences, specializing in Psychology. He completed his education with an MBA (Master in Business Administration and Management) from the Instituto Universitario de Dirección y Administración de Empresas (IDAE) and is certified as a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Murcia and Director of the Service of Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology to Work (SERPA), where he leads applied research projects on workplace well-being, occupational health, and work organization.
In the field of executive education, he is the Director of the Master in Human Resources Management and Direction at ENAE Business School, where he also teaches in the Human Resources department within the Master in Business Administration (MBA) program. His teaching approach is deeply oriented toward the development of managerial skills, healthy leadership, and psychosocial management in work environments.
In addition to his academic work, he acts as a Human Resources consultant for companies in the industrial and chemical sectors, specializing in areas such as stress management, work climate, organizational culture, and ergonomic workplace design.
He is the author of numerous specialized articles and books on work psychology, organizational resilience, leadership, and occupational health, and has been a speaker at multiple national and international conferences, scientific workshops, and seminars related to Human Resources and occupational health.
