Marta Albin

I am a PhD researcher in applied immunology and biotechnology at Dublin City University, specialising in harmful algal blooms, cyanobacterial toxins and water quality, with a particular focus on microcystin-LR. My research uses antibody-based methods and immunoassays to develop faster, practical ways of detecting harmful contaminants in water and bringing testing from the laboratory into the field.
