Matthew Simoneau

Matthew Simoneau, Ed.D., is a longtime leader in Career and Technical Education with more than three decades of combined experience in higher education, workforce training, and building inspection. A professor at UW–Stout, he has directed multiple academic programs, led statewide CTE initiatives, and taught extensively in adult, postsecondary, and industry settings. His work centers on high‑quality instruction, program evaluation, and strengthening pathways that support diverse learners. He is a frequent presenter at national CTE conferences, sharing research on student access, effective teaching, and policy. His session brings a practitioner‑scholar perspective grounded in real‑world experience and a deep commitment to helping educators create meaningful, supportive learning environments for all students.
