I study "humans in context." My work looks at policies, environments, and behaviors holistically. Questions I've asked: how do physical environments affect social network formation, information flow, human behaviors, perceptions, or attitudes; how do policies affect people beyond those targeted by it; how do public space designs affect democracy?
