Michael Spoelma

I am a Research Officer with the Precision Mental Health Team at the Black Dog Institute, and a PhD student at the University of New South Wales. I have strong interests in quantitative psychology, psychometrics, epidemiology, and psychiatric biostatistics, and am particularly interested in applying these approaches to answer questions across the areas of digital mental health, suicide prevention, and psychiatric nosology. My PhD research focuses on how naturalistic data can be used to optimise pharmacotherapy choices for individuals with bipolar disorder.
