Mochammad Fadjar Wibowo

Dr. Wibowo has published multiple articles on the introduction of digital technology in global health in journals such as Wellcome Open Research and Journal of Medical Internet Research. He has presented his work at international conferences and contributed articles to think-tank platforms including ISEAS’s Fulcrum, Tech for Good Institute (Singapore), Lowy Institute’s Interpreter (Sydney), and Council on Foreign Relations’ Think Global Health (New York). His expertise has been cited by major outlets, including China Global Television Network (Beijing) and Voice of America (Washington, D.C.). During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided consultancy to the Asian Development Bank, supporting the establishment of Indonesia’s Ministry of Health’s Centre for Global Health and Technology Policy and its G20 Health Track advocacy. Prior to his current role, he served as the country head of platform safety and quality for a Nasdaq-listed, Singapore-based multinational technology company.

Dr. Wibowo holds a Master’s in Global Health from the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) and a Doctor of Medicine from Gadjah Mada University (Yogyakarta). He has received awards for his contributions to global health from Charité Universitätsmedizin (Germany) and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He is an Expert Peer Reviewer for BMJ Digital Health and AI, a former Erasmus Mundus MAHEVA (Man, Health, Biodiversity in Asia) scholar at Université catholique de Louvain, and a recipient of the American Field Service scholarship.
