Natalie C. Tronson

My research focuses on how memory is formed in the brain. I am particularly interested in how illness and stress change memory formation, and thereby contribute to post-traumatic stress disorder and dementia. After completing my PhD at Yale University, I moved to Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, where I studied how stress increases fear-related memory strength. I am currently an Associate Professor in Psychology Department at the University of Michigan.
