I'm a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow in English and Geography at Western University, a melon farmer, and a beekeeper managing 200 hives and training to be a master through Cornell University. My first book, "Whistling at the Plough," on agriculture, capitalism, and Romantic poetry, is coming out with Cambridge University Press, and my latest book project, "Working Feeling," extends those premises to affect theory and migrant labour. I'm currently researching honey bee queen replacement and have two articles in press, one about Percy Shelley and the history of Make America Healthy Again, the other about John Clare and myths of labour productivity.
