Neil Cocks

Dr Neil Cocks is Associate Professor of Literary Perspective in the Department of English Literature, University of Reading. He has published questioning accounts of diverse fields of study, including: Children's Literature and its criticism; Lacanian psychoanalysis; Ayn Rand and Objectivism; Film Theory; Education Theory. His most recent book (with Dr Daniel Renshaw) is an edited collection on History and the Gothic.He is at present writing a book on race in fantastic fiction, and another on race and the face-to-face encounter.
