Nicholas Marsh

Nicholas has extensive experience as a front-line social worker, senior leader, and researcher in various multi-agency, child-safeguarding settings. His previous roles have included co-founding Listen Up, a research and consultancy organisation established to amplify lesser-heard voices in child protection research, practice and policy. Nicholas was also the development lead for a research-based and co-designed child exploitation service piloted by two Greater Manchester authorities. This service received a positive independent evaluation from the DfE, and it is now being rolled out across the region as part of Greater Manchester’s response to complex safeguarding.

Nicholas is currently writing a book focused on Boys and young men and child exploitation.
