Nicolas Dahan

I have been a faculty member at Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business since fall 2023.

Previously I was a tenured full Professor of Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and International Business at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) for four years. Prior to that I was an Associate Professor of IB and/or Business Strategy, most recently at CSUMB and at Temple University, Fox School of Business.

My research interests focus mainly on the area of “non-market strategies” (including corporate political activity, corporate diplomacy, corporate social responsibility, corporate philanthropy, corporate governance), as well as the intersection of entrepreneurship, social impact and public policy.

I have received a variety of teaching, research, and service awards over the past two decades.

I hold a PhD in Business Administration (with a focus on Strategic Management and International Business) from CNAM, a State University founded in 1794; a graduate diploma (with “laureate” distinction) from Sciences Po, and a BA in Economics from Sorbonne University (all located in Paris, France). I am also an alumnus of Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Cachan (now ENS Paris-Saclay, a unit of Paris-Saclay University).
