Oludayo Tade

Oludayo Tade teaches Criminology, victimology and security studies in the Department of Sociology, University of Ibadan. He holds a PhD in criminology. His research interests includes security studies, victims of crime, social problems, deviant behaviour, among others.

A fellow of the Institute for Money, Technology and Financial Inclusion, University of California, Irvine, United States of America, Tade provides insights into issues in Nigeria through media writings and scholarly publications. He is on the editorial Board of the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology. He is the pioneer president of the Nigeria Society for Criminology (NSC) (https://www.ncsociety.org.ng/about) and he is the Head of Communications at Conflict Research Network West Africa (CORN West Africa). Tade is also the 2025 Senior Fellow of the Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA)https://miasa.ug.edu.gh/fellow/oludayo-tade/
