Pablo Cabrera-Álvarez

I am a survey methodologist working at the Institute for Social and Economic Research. I currently develop strategies to maximise response in the United Kingdom Household Longitudinal Survey. Previously, I worked as a Survey Statistician designing survey samples and weights.

I hold a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Salamanca and a masters in Survey Methodology from the University of Essex. I research in the field of survey methodology with a special focus on nonresponse and selection bias and how to correct them. Sometimes I write about polls, public opinion, and elections.
