Professor Sir Paul Curran was President of City, University of London from 2010 to 2021. He was Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University and DVC of University of Southampton, following a career as a research scientist at, among others, NASA. He sits on the Board of London Higher and is President of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society. He was Chair of the national Review Body on Doctors’ & Dentists’ Remuneration and the UCEA Board, and member of NERC Council. He was knighted in 2016.
