Raglan Maddox

Raglan Maddox (Bagumani (Modewa) Clan, Papua New Guinea), PhD, MPH, is a Senior Fellow and leads the Tobacco Free program at Yardhura Walani at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Australian National University. His research focuses on developing community-driven, population-based Indigenous health information systems to address gaps in understanding mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. This work supports Indigenous communities and health services to inform and evaluate programs and policies. Raglan’s program includes a strong focus on tobacco control and resistance, strengths-based health promotion.
