Rebecca Atkinson

Rebecca Atkinson is a Researcher with the Cambridge Insititute of Music Therapy at Anglia Ruskin University. The main focus of her work is in paediatric brain injury, neurodegenerative conditions, acute care and community rehabilitation.

Funded by UK charities, Rebecca's current research investigates the impact of music and speech for those diagnosed with childhood dementia, as well as the impact of music therapy for infants in neonatal care. Her continued collaboration and affiliation with UK and European research institutions, sees Rebecca at the forefront of current and pioneering research in the arts, health and music therapy sector.
