My research focuses on anthropogenic impacts to marine ecosystems and solutions-based research to mitigate impacts and restore ecosystem services. Specifically, my research investigates the effectiveness of hard, hybrid and soft ecological engineering to manage coastal infrastructure to promote greater capacity for climate change adaptation.
