Robert Joseph is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication at the University of Dayton. He received his PhD in American Culture Studies at Bowling Green State University. His research and pedagogical interests include American Independent Cinema, contemporary representations of hell and the apocalypse, and media geographies. He's written about these interests in New Review of Film and Television Studies the Journal of Religion & Film, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, and The Projector.
