My lab studies the impacts of stress on mental health. To do this we take a biopsychosocial approach, examining the role of both social determinants and biomarkers (i.e. inflammatory factors, stress hormones, genetics and epigenetics) in depression and related disorders such as anxiety and suicide outcomes.
