Rossetta O. G. Cole

Rossetta is a Senior Registrar in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Sierra Leone Teaching Hospitals Complex Princess Christian Maternity Hospital Sierra Leone Freetown, currently preparing for her Fellowship examinations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has a strong interest in maternal health, particularly in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and improving outcomes in low-resource settings.

She is a co-author in a study evaluating point-of-care testing for the prediction of adverse maternal outcomes in pre-eclampsia, contributing to research aimed at strengthening early detection and timely intervention in high-risk pregnancies.

Rossetta is currently serving as a Co-Principal Investigator in a Priority Setting Partnership focused on pregnancy hypertension in low- and lower-middle-income countries, working collaboratively to identify key research priorities that will inform policy, clinical practice, and future interventions.

Her work reflects a commitment to advancing evidence-based care and improving maternal outcomes through research, clinical practice, and collaborative global health initiatives.
