Sally Ibrahim

Dr. Sally Ibrahim, MD FAAP, FAASM is a triple board-certified sleep medicine doctor with nearly 20 years of experience specializing in the care of children, teens and adult with sleep disorders. She is passionate about empowering patients and families to take an active role in their sleep health and advocates for growing sleep health knowledge in local communities, clinics, teaching institutions and national forums and conferences. Dr. Ibrahim sees patients with a wide range of sleep disorders, and conducts research in the field of sleep medicine.

A graduate of University of Texas, Dr. Ibrahim completed her combined internal medicine and pediatric residency at Case Western Reserve University's MetroHealth campus, following by her sleep medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, where she served as chief fellow. She is a Fellow of the academy of sleep medicine, pediatrics and has been recognized by Best Doctors in Cleveland and America. She serves as the associate professor of Case Western Reserve Medical school, and associate program director of CWRU affiliated sleep medicine program at University Hospitals, where she trains the next generation of sleep doctors, and teaches in a variety of training programs in the area. She leads hospital wide programs for pediatric sleep medicine and testing, to improve quality of care and access for children with sleep disorders. Dr. Ibrahim consult and serves on advisory boards/committees. She advocates for sleep health nationally, serves on the American Academy of Sleep Medicine advocacy committee, where she serves as chair of the committee. She supports innovation and advancement of sleep scientific endeavors and has served as principal investigator for multiple research projects, support of student and fellows with research, and maintains enthusiasm for the growth of the sleep medicine field. Dr. Ibrahim is open to communications that support sleep medicine advancements and opportunities.
