Samuel Penna Wanner

Samuel P. Wanner completed his undergraduate (2003) and master's (2006) degrees in Physical Education, both from the School of Physical Education, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Subsequently, he pursued a doctorate in Biological Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) at the Institute of Biological Sciences at UFMG, earning the degree in 2010. He completed a doctoral internship at the Systemic Inflammation Laboratory (Phoenix, AZ, USA) between September 2008 and October 2009. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Education at UFMG and is responsible for teaching courses in ​​Exercise Physiology. He has been actively participating in several research projects focused on exercise fatigue, physical performance, environmental conditions, and thermoregulatory responses.
