I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Community Health Sciences. My research focuses on how the act of breastfeeding and nutritional components of breast milk contribute to child development. I am a passionate science communicator, with multiple academic and non-academic publications in outlets such as: The Winnipeg Free Press and the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
