Dr Kelly has a PhD in energy, economics and climate change from the University of Cambridge. He has an MPhil in Sustainable Development a Masters in Renewable Energy and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. He was a Junior Research Fellow of Darwin College. During his study he was awarded a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, CT Taylor Scholarship, Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship and Cambridge Econometrics Bursary.
