Research Interests
- Paediatric respiratory medicine, including Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma and Bronchiolitis
- Paediatric clinical pharmacology, particularly the quality use of medicine in children, including improving their access to appropriate medications
General Responsibilities
Dr Beggs is a member of the Paediatric Medicines Advisory Group to the Department of Health and Ageing, and to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee. Dr Beggs also has a strong interest in, and commitment to, international child health, and travels regularly to Kupang in West Timor, Indonesia.
