Silvia D'Amato

I am Assistant Professor at the Institute of Global and Security Affairs at Leiden University in The Hague. I previously worked at the European University Institute as Max Weber Fellow and at the University of Florence within the project REPOND. I hold a PhD in Political Science from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence and my research interests include, terrorism and counterterrorism, European and international politics and civil wars and military interventions.
