Associate Professor Sonia Graham is a human geographer in the School of Social Sciences who has two main research interests.

For over 20 years her research has involved exploring the ways in which people prepare for and respond to climate variability and climate change. She has just started an 8-year Future Fellowship project exploring how coastal communities value the coast and how diverse values can be accommodated in climate adaptation plans.

Alongside this work, Associate Professor Graham has been researching the nature of collective action in weed management. She has recently released a book with CSIRO Publishing titled 'In the weeds: nurturing community through Landcare'.

Previously she worked at the University of Melbourne, the University of New South Wales and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
