Steve Barnes is a geologist with nearly forty years experience researching the origin of ore deposits. He is currently employed as a Science Leader in the CSIRO MIneral Resources Flagship.He has published over a hundred journal articles and book chapters and is regarded as an international authority on ore deposits of nickel, platinum and chromium. He lives in Fremantle, Western Australia.
