Sunday Adedini

Prof. Sunday A. Adedini is a health demographer with more than two decades of experience in demography, population studies, and public health research. He holds a PhD from Wits University, South Africa. He has secured numerous research grants and received various awards and fellowships. He led the establishment of South Africa's first urban-based Health and Demographic Surveillance System and is currently spearheading a similar project in Nigeria. Professor Adedini is the immediate past Director of Strategic Partnerships, Linkages, and Collaborations and currently the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. He has published over 100 highly cited scholarly articles, ranking him among the top researchers in his field globally.
