Tiina Manne

I am an archaeologist and my technical specialty is the analysis of animal remains at archaeological sites. By examining faunal remains, I am able to reconstruct patterns of past human diet to understand how people responded to cultural, environmental or large-scale climate change. I am also interested in how archaeological sites form and what happens to cultural materials (particularly bone) over time.
