Timothy James is a Teaching Fellow in the Surrey School of Law. He has been with the University since 2017, after previously being a Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University, and working as a solicitor in London and Birmingham practising corporate law.

His current areas of interest are teaching medical law and ethics, with special reference to end-of-life decision-making, and teaching business and company law to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
