I have a doctorate in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies from Rhodes University. I have been teaching/lecturing on a contract basis for over 13 years at the institution, and am currently working at the Centre for Higher Education Research, Teaching and Learning at Rhodes University, where I take on the role of student academic development.
