Trevor Hill

Professor Trevor Hill has authored or co-authored 120 peer-reviewed academic research articles. His research expertise is in contemporary pollen analysis, paleo-climatic reconstruction, natural resource management, Geographic Information Systems and biogeography.

Prof Hill has been editor of the Royal Society of South Africa (RSSAf)'s Transactions of the Royal Society journal. He is currently Professor in the Department of Geography, University of KwaZulu-Natal

He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, the South African Geographical Society and Royal Society of South Africa, and former co-editor of the South African Geographical Journal.
