Vahid Aryanpur

I am a Research Fellow at University College Cork, where I work on energy policy and modelling, transport decarbonisation and climate policy. My research focuses on how energy and transport systems can transition towards net zero.

I have published research in international peer-reviewed journals and work closely with policymakers and research organisations on evidence-based approaches to climate and energy transitions. I am also a Lead Author for the IPCC’s Seventh Assessment Report, contributing to its assessment of transport and mobility systems.
