Valerie A. Lapointe

Valerie is a PhD candidate in psychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM). Her research examines how generative AI is reshaping sexuality and intimate relationships. Specifically, Valerie investigates the affordances and governance challenges of AI-generated pornography and AI romantic companions, how individuals engage with these technologies, and their implications for society and human intimacy.
