Victor Martinez Vicente

I work as a senior bio-optical oceanographer with over 20 years experience, specialised on the study of the optical properties of particles in the aquatic environment (oceanic, coastal and inland) to pioneer new multidisciplinary remote sensing applications for ocean colour data. Currently, I lead the research at PML on remote sensing of marine plastic debris pollution and biodiversity loss through coordination of international teams with a multi-mission approach.
