Dale Peters

Dr Dale Peters is an independent research infrastructure consultant, and currently serves on the Scientific Committee of the World Data System, an affiliated body of the International Science Council. She served previously as Director of UCT eResearch from January 2016 until December 2020. Peters holds a transdisciplinary PhD in Library and Information Sciences, with a co-supervisor in Analytical Chemistry. She joined UCT in 2013 as Deputy Director of Technical Services in the UCT Libraries. Prior to joining UCT, she spearheaded the EU-funded e-infrastructure project, DRIVER (Digital Repository Infrastructure Vision for European Research). She also previously led the Digital Innovation South Africa (DISA) project, funded by the Andrew W Mellon Foundation.
